i assumed it was BS. hope so.
NateIsGod wrote:I don't think the break is "indefinite" as in "forever," but "indefinite" as in "we needed a break and we'll be back when we're recharged." I did hear that RHD had a recent practice or two w/ their buddy Jimmy from Dualistics (played bass at the Zep 2 New Year's show).
So keep hope alive. These guys are just waaay too good to call it a day yet.
thinlizzy wrote:Man, this really sucks. They'd fucking rock wheeliefest if they played. I have been expecting them to announce that their brother will be joining the band eventually, I hope something good is going on. Unfortunately, for a real rock band to make it today, you have to attach your carriage to the "jam" crowd because rock stations do not play rock and roll and rock is just not relevant enough for kids. They'll download your music for free and forget who you are the day after they see you live. Their only chance is to play these festivals and open for the Crowes, the Mule, and some other "name" bands. It's too bad rock and roll has been dead for about 30 years now. As far as I am concerned, with the exception of a few bands, 1980 was the last year for real rock and roll as we knew it.
