RockMe. Online Music Festival Connects Bands andFans in Real-Time

Boulder, CO, Aug 16, 2007 – RockMe. (RockMe.dium.com), a five-day online music festival taking place from September 18 – 22, brings five well-known rock bands together to meet and interact with their fans in a unique online social setting. Hosted by Rose Hill Drive, RockMe.facilitates innovative, compelling connections between bands and fans, while enabling fans to interact among themselves and discover new music together inreal-time. RockMe. takes place within Me.dium, a free Web browser add-on compatible with Internet Explorer 7, Firefox, and Flock.
"Me.dium makes it possible for us to hang with our fans online in real-time,” says Jake Sproul, lead singer of Rose Hill Drive.
During RockMe., bands, artists and music mavens will lead participants on a tour of Web destinations where unique content is revealed, fans can surf with their friends and discover new music through the interaction among the audience members. The final day will include live streaming video of Rose Hill Drive’s show powered by USTREAM.TV broadcasting direct from the Fox Theatre in Boulder, CO.
