Aloha! The Mule show with Rose Hill Drive at the House of Blues was great.
The guys were truly glad to be there rocking out for us, even after just practically getting there, coming in from San Francisco. They were awesome, and the new songs were incredible! What a treat, they rocked the place!
I didn't upload the Mule photos from House of Blues, as there were only a few & they didn't come out that great.
RHD's set list was pretty much like this:
Trans Am
Sneak Out
Long Tall Sally
Alter Junkie
One Night Stand
A Better Way
The Godfather
Raise Your Hands
Do You Want to Get High?
RHD was a great opener and I'm sure they have some new fans after Friday night. The Mule was great, although a little more jammy than they were the weekend before at the Stone Pony. They did a few covers- Traffic "The Low Spark of High Heeled Shoes", Blind Faith "Had to Cry Today", "Helter Skelter" and a Graham Nash song, not sure which one.
They did I'm a Ram, and Brand New Angel too.
Overall, it was a pretty great rockin night out !!!
oh, and on a sidenote...... just another part of the adventure....Unfortunately, I dropped my camera about halfway thru the Mule set and it's broken. It has not been able to power on since. I was able to pull out the memory card & bring it to a camera store to retrieve my photos!!! So at least I didn't lose them.
Good news is, I'll look forward to getting a new camera- I need that anti-shake stuff so the ones without flash aren't blurry !
Another sidenote- Rose Hill Drive will be on the Late Night- Conan O'Brien show this Tuesday 7/29 !!!
